The On-Bill Repayment program is administered through our wholesale electric provider, Tri-State G&T, in partnership with the Collective Clean Energy Fund and Zero Homes, our virtual energy assessment provider.

After you submit the form, you will receive communications primarily from the Collective Clean Energy Fund and Zero Homes. Be sure to monitor your email (including spam/junk folders) for important updates and information on next steps.

San Luis Valley REC is offering an on-bill repayment (OBR) program to residents or business owners to install certain energy upgrades to their property at no upfront cost. San Luis Valley REC will bill members on a monthly basis over an agreed-upon timeframe, up to 10 years. In many cases the energy savings achieved through the newly installed measures is greater than the monthly repayment obligation, thereby saving members money on their utility bill every month.

Am I Eligible?

Only members who pay their electric utility bill to San Luis Valley REC can apply for On-Bill Repayment. Applicants must:

  • Be the owner of a property in SLVREC’s service territory with a valid electricity account number
  • Have an immediate payment history of 12 consecutive months to SLVREC without shutoff notices
  • Have no late penalties for the previous 6 consecutive months, unless the member agrees to enroll in bill autopay

Become an Authorized On-Bill Contractor

Apply to become a contractor for On-Bill Repayment throught our partner, Collective Clean Energy Fund! This program provides lead generation, cash incentives per install and gives clients greater access to home upgrades through repayment flexibility. OBR is mainly available to HVAC, plumbing, building envelope contractors and electricians. Additionally, take advantage of our program's sales and marketing materials as well as supplemental trainings.
