NOTICE OF JOB OPENING FOR DISTRIBUTION ENGINEER
San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc./Ciello currently has an open position for a Distribution Engineer. Work hours are Monday – Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., forty hours/week plus additional time as duties require. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering plus 3-years equivalent work experience in this field. Duties: support electric system operations, work with engineering designs ensuring all industry and regulatory standards are met, support GIS mapping of electric and broadband systems, lead special projects, and work on electric system data analysis and modeling. NOTICE OF JOB OPENING FOR DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING
San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc./Ciello currently has an open position for a Director of Engineering. Work hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 40 hours/week plus additional time as duties require. The responsibilities include managing substations and distribution operations, leading SCADA and system control technologies, overseeing engineering design and construction planning, system mapping and modeling oversight, reliability performance and supporting multi-department collaboration. Education requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution and 5 years’ relevant work experience in electric power systems. The San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to serve as our Chief Power Engineering Officer. Preference will be given to licensed Professional Engineers.
