San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative currently has an open position for a Staking Engineer. Work hours are Monday – Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., forty hours/week plus additional time as duties require. Responsible for designing lines and services according to standard construction methods, preparing construction cost estimates, interpreting maps, plats, surveys and electrical drawings, produce staking sheets and materials list for fiber and electric work orders, procuring easements and permits, and ability to interact with the public on a daily basis. NOTICE OF JOB OPENING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
San Luis Valley REC currently has an open position for a customer service representative. Work hours are Monday–Thursday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40 hours/week plus additional time as duties require.
• Central contact point for processing all customer inquiries and requests including telecommunication sales
• Handle all billing functions including payment processing, collections and service disconnections
• Strong attention to detail & skilled in multitasking in a hectic and fast paced environment
• Stand-by coverage on a rotational basis to coordinate after-hours trouble calls and outages is required.

NOTICE OF JOB OPENING FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
The San Luis Valley REC has an opening for a full-time Telecommunications Coordinator. General duties include:
• Handle incoming inquiries for new service and maintenance for internet and telephone
• Prepare estimates for cost of new service installation
• Coordinate projects with internal departments and external contractors
• Scheduling install appointments.
Must be highly detail oriented with strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment. Wage is $29.67 – $36.13/hr. AA in Business Administration or related field preferred.
