Understanding Your Bill
General information about your account appears on each billing statement you receive from SLVREC. If you have additional questions about your bill or your account, call or stop by the cooperative's office with your bill. Customer Service and billing representatives are available to help with billing questions.
Payment Due Dates
Payments are due two weeks after receipt of the bill. If for any reason, you cannot pay your bill by the due date, contact SLVREC immediately.
To Pay by Mail:
San Luis Valley Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc., PO Box 3625, Monte Vista, CO 81144
Please return your payment by mail in the envelope provided inside your bill each month. Please do not send cash.
Other Ways to Make a Payment:
You can pay your bill with a credit card, debit card or check-by-phone payment. The cooperative's interactive voice payment system is available 24/7 at 877-760-7468. To use phone-pay options, simply call SLVREC at 719-852-3538 or 800-332-7634. If you prefer, you can make arrangements with SLVREC to have the cooperative automatically draft from your savings/checking account or bill a credit card of your choice on a monthly basis.
SLVREC has a payment drop box conveniently located in the parking lot of the headquarters office building at 3625 US Hwy 160 W in Monte Vista.
You can pay your bill locally at one of the following financial institutions: First Southwest Banks, Community Banks of Colorado and Miners & Merchants Bank in Creede.
